How do I slow down the reader?

If one line is too fast

1. Open your scene.
2. Tap Run Lines from the Scene Menu.
3. Find the line you want to slow down.
4. Tap the three dots beside the line.
5. Tap Adjust Speed.
6. Use the slider to slow the line down.
7. Tap Preview to hear how it sounds.
8. Save or close once you’re happy.

If you want the line to sound more natural

1. Tap the three dots beside the line.
2. Tap Line Read.
3. Record the line at the speed and rhythm you want.
4. Press Stop.
5. Preview the new line read.
6. Re-record if needed.

If Linus responds too quickly after your line

1. Go back to the folder screen.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Playback Settings.
4. Adjust Response Time.
5. Choose a delay of 1 or 2 seconds.

Which setting should I use?

Adjust Speed

Use Adjust Speed when one specific line is being spoken too quickly or too slowly.

Line Read

Use Line Read when you want the line to sound more natural, with a specific rhythm, pace, pause, or emotional quality.

Response Time

Use Response Time when Linus is coming in too quickly after you finish speaking.
