What do the buttons do at the bottom of Run Lines?

  1. Open your scene.
  2. Tap Run Lines from the Scene Menu.
  3. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
  4. Open the control panel.
  5. Use the buttons to control how you rehearse the scene.

Button guide

Back

Use Back to move to the previous line.

Next

Use Next to move forward to the next line.

Play / Pause

Use Play to start the scene.

Use Pause to stop the scene.

Loop

Use Loop if you want a section or scene to repeat.

Speed

Use Speed to change the speed of the scene.

Move to Next Line

Use Move to Next Line to choose how Linus moves forward through the scene.

Cue Word

Use Cue Word if you want Linus to listen for your highlighted cue word before moving forward.

Tap

Use Tap if you want to manually tap to move to the next line.

Stack Lines

Use Stack Lines to learn the scene by building it line by line.

Auto-Advance

Use Auto-Advance if you want Linus to move forward after a short silence.

When should I use the control panel?

Use the control panel when you want to:

  • play or pause the scene
  • go back or skip forward
  • repeat a section
  • change the speed
  • choose how Linus moves to the next line
  • turn on rehearsal tools like Stack Lines or Auto-Advance
