1. Open your scene.
2. Tap Self Tape from the Scene Menu.
3. Find the teleprompter box on screen.
4. Tap the settings wheel in the top right-hand corner of the teleprompter box.
5. Find Show Action Lines.
6. Turn Show Action Lines on if you want action lines to appear.
7. Turn Show Action Lines off if you want to hide action lines.

When should I show action lines?

Show action lines if you want reminders for:

• movement
• beats
• important stage directions
• physical actions
• moments you want to remember while recording

When should I hide action lines?

Hide action lines if you want a cleaner teleprompter and only want to focus on dialogue while self-taping.
