How do I edit a beat?

To edit a beat

1. Open your scene.
2. Tap Run Lines from the Scene Menu.
3. Find the beat you want to edit.
4. Tap the three dots beside the beat.
5. Tap Edit Beat.
6. Use the slider to adjust the length of the beat.
7. Save your change.

To delete a beat

1. Find the beat you want to delete.
2. Swipe left on the beat.
3. Tap the red delete icon.
4. Confirm the deletion.

You can also delete a beat by tapping the three dots beside it and choosing Delete.

When should I edit a beat?

Edit a beat when:

• the pause is too short
• the pause is too long
• the rhythm of the scene feels off
• the next line is coming in too quickly
• the moment needs more or less space

When should I delete a beat?

Delete a beat when you no longer want that pause in the scene.
