How do I change which character a line belongs to?

Written steps

1. Open your scene.
2. Go to Run Lines or Table Read.
3. Find the line assigned to the wrong character.
4. Tap the three dots beside that line.
5. Tap Edit Line.
6. Choose the correct character under Character.
7. Tap Save.

When should I use this?

Use this if:

• a line is connected to the wrong character
• Linus assigned a line to the wrong person
• you accidentally added a line to the wrong character
• you want to clean up character assignments before rehearsing

What if lots of lines are assigned to the wrong character?

If it’s only one or two lines, changing them manually is usually fastest.

If many lines are assigned to the wrong character, try re-uploading the script using Advanced Options → Convert PDF Pages to Images.
