Run Lines
How can I use Line Stacking to learn my lines?
To use Line Stacking from the top of the scene
- Open your scene.
- Tap Run Lines from the Scene Menu.
- Swipe up from the bottom to open the control panel.
- Go to Advanced Settings.
- Tap Stack Lines.
- Check that Stack Lines is highlighted.
- Check that Stack appears in orange in the control panel.
- Press Play.
To use Line Stacking from a specific line
- Open Run Lines.
- Scroll to the line where you want to begin.
- Swipe right on that line.
- Tap the orange arrow pointing right.
- Check that the orange start icon appears on that line.
- Swipe up from the bottom to open the control panel.
- Go to Advanced Settings.
- Tap Stack Lines.
- Press Play.
How do I know Line Stacking is on?
Line Stacking is on when:
- Stack Lines is highlighted
- Stack appears in orange in the control panel
When should I use Line Stacking?
Use Line Stacking when you want to:
- build a scene line by line
- drill a difficult section slowly
- get more confident with your lines
- memorise longer pieces of dialogue
- start from a specific point instead of the top
- strengthen the connection between one line and the next
