How do I use Linus Studio?
Written steps
- Open your scene.
- Tap Self Tape from the Scene Menu.
- Tap Preview in the bottom left-hand corner.
- Open the take you want to adjust.
- Tap the three-star icon to open Linus Studio.
- Choose Natural or Strong if you want to start with a preset.
- Tap Apply to hear the preset on your tape.
- Play the tape back from the start and listen to the change.
- Adjust one audio setting at a time if you want to fine-tune the sound.
- Tap Apply after each change.
- Play the tape back again to check the result.
- Tap Done when you are happy with the audio.
What can I adjust in Linus Studio?
In Linus Studio, you can adjust:
- reader volume
- your voice as the actor
- background audio
- ambience
What are Natural and Strong?
Natural and Strong are preset audio settings.
They are designed to help you quickly improve the balance of your self-tape audio.
Tap a preset, tap Apply, then play the tape back to hear how it sounds.
When should I use Linus Studio?
Use Linus Studio when:
- the reader is too loud
- your voice is too quiet
- there is too much background noise
- the tape sounds unbalanced
- you want to improve the audio before saving or exporting
