When should I reduce background audio?

Use Background Audio if your self-tape has unwanted noise, such as:

  • cars
  • planes
  • a busy road
  • other people in the house
  • general room noise
  • background hum

What does Ambience do?

When you reduce background audio, the tape can sometimes sound too clean or artificial.

Ambience lets you add back a subtle room sound so the tape still feels natural.

Important

Tap Apply after each change.

Then play the tape back from the start so you can hear how the audio has changed.
