How can I edit action lines before self-taping?

Written steps

1. Go back to the Scene Menu from Self Tape.
2. Tap Table Read.
3. Find the action line you want to edit.
4. Tap the three dots beside the action line.
5. Tap Edit Action.
6. Edit the action text.
7. Tap Save.
8. Go back to the Scene Menu.
9. Tap Self Tape.
10. Check the teleprompter to make sure the updated action line appears correctly.

Why would I edit an action line before self-taping?

Edit an action line if:

• the action line is too long
• it takes up too much space in the teleprompter
• you only need a few key reminders
• the action line has imported incorrectly
• you want the note to be clearer before recording

Can I hide action lines instead?

Yes.

If you do not want action lines to appear while self-taping, you can turn Show Action Lines off in the teleprompter settings.
