How do I mute my own lines?
Written steps
- Open your scene.
- Tap Table Read from the Scene Menu.
- Swipe up from the bottom to open the control panel.
- Go to Advanced Settings.
- Tap Mute My Lines.
- Check that Mute My Lines is highlighted.
- Check that Mute appears in the top right of the control panel.
- Press Play.
What does Mute My Lines do?
Mute My Lines lets you hear the other characters while leaving your own lines silent.
This is useful if you want to practise saying your own lines out loud without hearing Linus read them for you.
When should I use it?
Use Mute My Lines when you want to:
- test whether you know your lines
- practise speaking your lines out loud
- hear the other characters only
- rehearse by listening for your cues
- use Table Read as a line-learning tool
Important note
Mute My Lines is available in Table Read.
If you want to rehearse out loud with Linus listening for your cue word, use Run Lines instead.
