Getting Started
How to rehearse your first scene in Linus
Written steps
- Open Linus and go to your folder screen.
- Tap Upload to add a new script.
- Choose whether to use Linus Cloud. Turn this on if you want the script saved to your Linus account and available across your devices.

- Tap Upload Selected when you’re ready.
- Wait while Linus processes your script and analyses the scene.
- Select the character you’re playing. This tells Linus which lines are yours.
- Choose voices for the other characters. You can preview and adjust voices by dialect, gender, age, and style.
- Tap Start Rehearsing to open the scene.
- Tap Run Lines from the Scene Menu.
- Swipe up from the bottom to open the control panel.
- Press Play and start rehearsing your scene out loud opposite the other character voices.
