What file types work best with Linus?

File requirements

Linus currently supports script uploads in PDF format.

Your PDF should be:

  • under 20MB
  • unlocked
  • not password-protected

What works best?

Linus usually works best with clean, typed PDFs where the text is easy to read.

Linus can also process scripts that are:

  • scanned
  • photographed
  • photocopied
  • watermarked
  • exported from another document as a PDF

What if my PDF is tricky?

If your script is scanned, watermarked, or formatted unusually, upload it using:

Advanced Options → Convert PDF Pages to Images

This can help Linus read the script more accurately.

What if my file is not a PDF?

If your script is in another format, such as a Word document or image file, export or save it as a PDF first.

Then upload the PDF to Linus.
