What is Cloud Sync?

What does Cloud Sync do?

Cloud Sync lets you save selected scripts and scenes to your Linus account so you can access them across your devices.

When Cloud Sync is turned on for a script or scene, it can be accessed from another device, such as your phone, laptop, desktop, or the web, as long as you’re using the same Linus account.

When Cloud Sync is turned off, that script or scene is only available on the device you’re currently using.

How do I know if a script is synced?

If a script has a green cloud with a tick, Cloud Sync is enabled.

If you don’t see the green cloud icon, that script is only available on your current device.

Can I choose which scripts are synced?

Yes. Cloud Sync is your choice.

You can turn it on or off for individual scripts and scenes.

When should I use Cloud Sync?

Use Cloud Sync when:

  • you want to access a script across multiple devices
  • you use Linus on mobile, desktop, or web
  • you don’t want the script to only live on one device
  • you’re changing devices and want to keep access to your scripts
