We're Giving Linus Away for Free in May

Linus is giving everyone free access for the entire month of May.

We’re doing it for two reasons.

First, we’ve just hit 2,000 active users, which feels like a huge milestone for something Alfred and I built from the ground up as working actors.

Second, thanks to support from an ElevenLabs grant, we’re in a position to open the doors wider and give more actors the chance to use Linus for free. We built Linus to help actors rehearse scenes, run lines, and get self-tapes down when they don’t have someone available to read with. May Madness is our way of giving something back to the community that made this possible.

So, how does it work?

From May 1, actors who create a Linus account will be included in the giveaway until all 20,000 places are claimed. If you already have an active pass or subscription, we’ll make sure your access is extended and your next billing renewal date is moved back by 30 days so you don’t miss out.

The whole point is simple: to make rehearsal and self-taping more accessible for more actors, and to let people experience what it’s like to have a responsive rehearsal partner in your pocket whenever they need one.

What do you need to do?

1. Download Linus and create a free account.
2. Once May begins, follow the prompts to activate your free Pro Subscription.
3. Once May ends, you will be downgraded to the free plan automatically.

And if you know actors who’d genuinely benefit, send it their way. Share it with your castmates, classmates, group chats, agent, whoever makes sense. We’d love to see this reach the people who need it most.

And because Linus can now speak and respond in 38 different languages, May Madness is also a chance to put the tool in the hands of actors all over the world. More access, more rehearsal, and more support for actors in their process, wherever they are.
